Cedrus libani...quite possibly the most magic place I have been since the Redwoods of California.
Only 5% of Lebanon still covered in forests...some of these trees date back as far as 3000 years.

oh God! The Cedars of Lebanon! You are living in like biblical myth or something, or Quranic. So lovely. I like that you said it was the most magical since the redwoods, and here I am, holding it down in the redwoods. love you.
